To claim a space is to do nothing in it
this much is true
It is to stand looking at pigeons
doing nothing as well
it is to stand looking at cigarette stubs
Like rain on muted pavements
To do nothing is to think
do crows know and how
do they know
to stand on the telephone wires without getting fried and if
a mistake is made
Does it smell good?
To do nothing in a place
is to have no answer but a glare
for anyone who asks what you are
Doing there.
(nothing)
